Our therapy team is dedicated to helping every person achieve their therapy goals and getting them back in ACTION!
Our physical therapy program offers a team effort approach with ongoing communication between physicians and therapists to ensure patients a fast recovery.
Whether you require physical therapy as part of your surgical recovery or as a direct treatment, our therapists are able to treat a variety of conditions including:
Occupational therapy programs improve fine motor skills, especially of the hand and arm. A major focus of occupational therapy is rehabilitation related to impairments of the upper extremity (i.e., shoulder, elbow, forearm, wrist, hand). The role of occupational therapy in upper extremity rehabilitation is to return the client to meaningful participation in his or her daily activities and help people of all ages develop and maintain their ability to perform tasks and roles essential to productive living, including self-care, leisure and work.
Sports Assessment is a criteria based series of tests which take the guess work out of determining if you have the physical characteristics needed to make a successful return to your sport. Please know this assessment is specifically intended for athletes who have rehabilitated somewhere other than Action Therapy as all of our patients receive the testing as part of their standard physical therapy care.
Low level laser therapy is 100% natural, painless and non-invasive. It is a proven and highly effective therapeutic laser treatment which uses infrared light energy to increase local microcirculation, accelerates tissue repair, reduces pain, and decreases inflammation/edema, enhances immune response and angiogenesis (the development of new blood vessels) to provide pain relief. Our units use high power medical near infrared and red visible LEDs (wavelengths at 870 nm and 633 nm).
